Podcast Reflection

Like the days of our lives, another assignment has come and gone. The Podcast assignment I actually enjoyed though, unlike the webtext. That thing was evil. So, was the Podcast the opposite of evil? Not necessarily, I just enjoyed it more. The best part of the podcast, to me, was that I got to deal with audio and audio software and I got to put music in it as well, and I love music--so that was cool. I just felt more comfortable with this one, unlike the webtext. Maybe because the webtext was our first assignment, so, it was kinda like going in a cold pool and having to swim around a little bit before you got use to it. 

I felt like I did rather well on this assignment but, then again, I thought I did good on the webtext and ended up getting an F. Hopefully thats not the case! But, yea, I thought my script was good and I put in enough information to help people. In the beginning, I thought about just doing a small bio on Steve Jobs. Which I did...but, then I kind of mixed in his innovating thinking and how failure isn't necessarily negative and people can benefit from that part of him. I was proud of myself because of that. That made it more than just a biography.

If I had more time to do this assignment I would have definitely cut out the part where I was clearing my throat before I went into the introduction. lol. I can't believe I forgot to take that part out. I heard it, and i meant to cut it out but I totally forgot about it. Oh well, hopefully my loyal listeners will look past my imperfection and just see the podcast for its quality. I dont think I'll be so lucky with the teacher though, I am pretty sure I'm going to lose points on that one.

New podcast proposal

I decided to change up my podcast proposal and my new topic will be about Steve Jobs. Steve is the C.E.O of Apple, I think it will a good podcast that can reach out to many different individuals alike. There is a lot of history to talk about with him and Apple and not to mention some other companies he has tackled. So, I cant wait to get it to you.

My Podcast

Ok, so, my podcast is going to go into more detail about Apple as a company. I know that doesnt have anything to do with the proposal I did but I think it will be a lot more interesting to speak about because I can get into all their product and also talk about the business side of it; so I think it will be fun.

Reflection

I did my Webtext on Macs. I can't lie...i am a little disappointed with it. The first draft I did was really strong, but sadly it did not save correctly, so, I had to write up the second one which was the final one everyone read (or didn't). I think i did ok with it. Hopefully my point came across to whom ever might have read it and it didn't sound stupid.
Now that I came to class, though, im kind of worried about it. The teacher sounded like we didn't do to well, so, I'm thinking mine was a little more crappier than I thought. I think I did poorly on citations, but we'll see. I think whats gonna hurt me too is that i really didnt participate in the discussions on Facebook, I did the blogs though, but now its the Facebook discussion boards that are going to reflect my grade...that might hurt a little. Now, im getting paranoid about this blog because it say it has to be 300 words and I dont know what else to write. Im a man of few words, i always have been, but now my grade is going to reflect this so I have to come up with something....argh!!!
ok, it is what it is. So, if I had to do things differently I would have pay'd more attention to directions. I'll be honest, I overlooked some things, especially the 1500 words minimum and the csw writing method. But, oh well, what are you going to do? Its over, I turned it in and I'll try and revise it as best as I can to improve whatever grade I got on it; which I'm fearing at this point.
